ABIGAIL OPIAH is an entrepreneur and co-founder of UNRULY—an award-winning beauty platform that simplifies the Black hairstyling experience with content, services and products designed to take the pain out of caring for Black hair.

Before joining her sister, Antonia Opiah in 2013 to launch UNRULY, Abigail enjoyed a career as a marketing and PR professional for globally recognized consumer brands. That same year, she and her sister made a splash with the widely buzzed-about public art exhibit, You Can Touch My Hair and its accompanying documentary film sponsored by Pantene Pro-V. By 2020 the sisters developed a more mission-oriented business philosophy focused on creating initiatives and content that punctuates the problems they set out to solve in the beauty space and beyond. This was first illustrated with their award-winning short film, Pretty Shouldn’t Hurt  produced in partnership with L’Oréal’s Dark & Lovely brand, and most recently with Overdue - produced in partnership with Gerber.

Abigail currently divides her time between New York City and Florida.
